Hey, I’m Becky.
I’m so happy you’re here…
Who I Am In the Therapy Room
In the therapy room, you may be looking for many things. I show up authentically. What that means is I allow my own neurodivergence to connect and navigate with us as we go. I am a therapist who enjoys humor as we talk through what it is you’re searching and exploring. If you need a push, I’ve got you. If you need the space, I’m here for that too. You need a soft space to land when life feels heavy, you got it. This space is somewhere that safety and support are prioritized.
A deeper understanding…
I hold the strong belief that therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe and trusting of your therapist to show up as yourself. That means messy thoughts, complicated feelings, humor, grief, and possibly all at the same time. As a therapist with AuDHD I know how hard it can be to navigate systems that aren’t built for those who don’t fit that typical mold. I strive to create space that opens the doors to collaboration, affirming care, and is rooted in compassion. I work with narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, trauma-informed care, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (especially when working in relational settings for healing and understanding).
I earned my bachelors degree at Cal State San Marcos in Women and Gender Studies, where my passion for advocacy, inclusion and intersectional understanding was deepened. When I graduated I then moved on to Alliant International University to get my degree in Marriage and Family therapy. My work focused on LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples while attending and participating in practicum, which grew my allyship in more ways than I could have hoped.
In my spare time, I am an avid Disney lover, trinket collector, K-pop fanatic, and K-drama dreamer. If any of this resonates in your soul, I might be the therapist for you.
